About Fast Tax
An accounting firm with a pulse.
No phone trees. No chatbots. No "your call is important to us." Just CPAs in Orange County and Las Vegas who pick up, remember your name, and do the work properly.
What we are.
The short version: a CPA firm that decided staying small and staying personal was the whole point.
Fast Tax exists for the people and small businesses who'd rather be doing almost anything else — and shouldn't have to apologize for it.
We're not a national chain with a kiosk in a strip mall, and we're not a faceless app that promises "maximum refund" in a push notification. We're an accounting firm. The old-fashioned kind, in the ways that matter: a phone that gets answered, files that get read line by line, advice that comes from a person who actually knows your situation.
We do three things — bookkeeping, tax planning, and estate planning — and we do them all year. Not forty services we'd be mediocre at. Three trades, practiced daily, done properly.
And we don't keep tax-season hours. April is a deadline, not a business model. The questions that actually change what you owe show up in June, in October, on some random Tuesday. We're here for those too.
Who we work for.
Two kinds of clients, mostly. Both busy. Neither here for fun.
Individuals
W-2s, 1099s, rentals, the stock you forgot you sold, the year everything changed at once. Your life doesn't fit neatly in the boxes on a form, and we stopped expecting it to a long time ago. Bring the shoebox. We've seen worse.
Small Businesses
Restaurants, contractors, shops, one-person empires. You're good at the work — the paperwork is supposed to be our problem, so it is. Books kept straight, deadlines met, surprises held to an absolute minimum.
How we work.
It's not complicated. That's the point.
-
You talk to a person.
Call the office and a human answers — one who can actually help, not one reading a script. Send the form instead and the same human calls you back, usually same business day.
-
The same person, every time.
You get a name and a direct line, not a ticket number. The person who learns your file is the person who keeps it. Nobody re-explains their life to a stranger every spring.
-
All twelve months.
Buy the truck in June, sell the building in October, panic quietly in February — we're open for all of it. The work that saves you money happens between the deadlines, not at them.
You shouldn't need an appointment three weeks out to ask your accountant a question.
Two offices. One standard.
Real doors, real desks, real coffee. Come in, or don't — most of what we do works just as well by phone and email.
Somewhere else entirely? Fine by us. We work with clients in CA, NV & beyond. The IRS doesn't care where you sit, and neither do we.
What we believe.
Strong opinions, weakly decorated.
Good accounting is mostly honesty, applied early and often.
Honest books, so you know what the business actually has. Honest planning, so the tax bill is a number you saw coming, not a letter you're afraid to open. Honest conversations, including the ones nobody wants to start — like what happens to all of it when you're gone.
We won't promise you a magic refund, a loophole with your name on it, or "one weird trick." Anyone who does is selling something, and eventually the bill for it arrives with interest. What we promise instead is duller and worth more: numbers that are right, filed on time, by people who answer the phone.
If that sounds like your kind of boring, we should talk.
Ten minutes. One phone call. No pitch.
The fastest way to find out if we're a fit is to talk to us. It costs you nothing, and we won't waste it.
Still sizing us up? Fair. Read the FAQs or see what clients say first.
